Consider/Approve Rescheduling September's Regular Board Meeting
From September 14 to September 8

Preliminary Matters:

At its regular meeting held June 1, 2009, the Board approved the Annual Agenda for the 2009 – 2010 Fiscal Year. As part of the agenda, September 14, 2009 was designated as the date for the regular September meeting. The Superintendents’ Study Council meeting is scheduled to begin September 13, 2009 and will end September 16, 2009. This is a state-wide meeting for superintendents. I am requesting the Board to change the September meeting from September 14, 2009 to September 8, 2009 (the Tuesday after Labor Day) to allow my attendance at this meeting.

Staff Recommendation:

It is the Board’s sole discretion as to whether the regular meeting date is changed or not.
